I am heavily involved with numerous community groups including Eccleshall Eagles Junior Football Club, Stafford Together, Stafford United Charities, etc.

Peter is currently the Deputy Mayor of Stafford Borough along with his wife Joy who is serving as the deputy Mayoress. His first term as Deputy mayor ended in 18th May 2019.

He is currently the chairmen of the Public Appeals Committee, a member of the Standards Committee and the Audit & Accounts Committee.
Peter is the chairman of the Eccleshall Voluntary Car Scheme and a volunteer at the Eccleshall Library.He is a member of the Stafford Rotary Club.
Peter has been an elected member of the Stafford Borough Council representing the people of Eccleshall Ward for over eight years.
He has been an elected member of the Eccleshall Parish Council for 25 years and is currently its longest serving member.
